Getting started with Wishlord

Wishlord is a social network to get you closer to your aspirations in life.
We believe that if you have a wish and write it down, attach pictures and videos related to it, look at it, create communities about it, connect to other people with similar interests, and make it public, you've taken a serious step towards accomplishment.
We also hope that you add as many accomplished wishes as possible, and tell us all your story: you could help millions of others getting there!

Connect to friends, family and wishmates and get to know what they wish for.This guide can help you familiarize yourself with the main features of Wishlord and get started.

To join Wishlod, simply sign up with a valid e-mail address and you personal information.

Profile

Creating and editing
To get started with Wishlord, visit the Wishlord sign-in page, enter your valid e-mail address, your full name and password, and click Sign in. First, you'll need to create your profile:

• Add your photo to your profile by selecting the general tab and clicking the add photo link.
• Include your name, last name, country, and other personal details on the general tab.

If later on you want to add more information or make any changes to your profile, just follow these steps:

1.Visit your homepage and click edit profile on the top right of the profile page.
2.Click the tab that describes the section of your profile that you'd like to change.
3.Click update at the bottom of each page when you make changes.

Privacy
We guarantee that your full profile and your e-mail address will only be available for those confirmed as "friends". Those not confirmed cannot send messages, so, they can only interact thru "notes" inside a "wish" page.

Wishes
Add as many wishes as you can think of.
Make sure you decide whether they are privet or public.
Privet wishes can only be seen by you.
Public and accomplished wishes will be available for everybody else.

Photos
Upload photos and videos of your wishes to Wishlord and share them with everyone.

1.Click on a wish.
2.Click on pics.
3.Click on add pic.
4.Select a photo by entering the filename or using the Browse button in the 'upload photos' section.
5.Click upload photo.

Videos

1.Click on a wish.
2.From your wish page, click on "videos".
3.In the 'Video URL' field, enter the URL for the video you want to add from YouTube.
4.Click the upload button. You'll see a confirmation message that your video has been added.

Communities
The communities on Wishlord were thought to work as "blogs", moderated by their creators. We encourage you to start up communities and join others to connect with people who have similar interests as you. To start using communities, click the link 'communities' section of your profile page. From there you can search or browse for communities or create a new one.

Communicating with friends, wishmates and other people

• Notes: Leaving notes on people's wishes is a simple way to make a comment, statement or question about a wish. Just click notes on someone's wish page, write your note, and click the post note button.
• Messages: Unlike notes, messages are private, like sending an e-mail. You can message up to 10 friends at the same time, but if you want to send a message to someone you are not friends with on Wishlord, you can only write them individual messages.

Community Guidelines

The following Community Standards are the shared values of the wishlord.com community. wishlord.com is a place where users can express their own beliefs and values, and our Community Standards help foster a positive environment in which to do so. These standards are a living document and will change based on the needs of the broad community and the available tools, so we encourage you to review them frequently.

We take the wishlord.com Community Standards seriously and ask you to respect them. As wishlord.com members, you have certain responsibilities to yourselves and to each other.

The following guidelines are intended to protect wishlord.com members' privacy, legal rights and overall user experience. Note that these guidelines are not intended to replace the actual Terms of Service for wishlord.com

Potential Community Standards violations should be reported using the Report Abuse button on either the community or profile page. If we determine that the reported content is illegal or violates our policies, we may immediately remove it.

Profile Restrictions
Violation of any of these restrictions may result in the suspension or termination of a profile.

User Identity

• wishlord.com is meant to promote interactions between real people, so we require users to meet basic identity standards. Profiles should only be created by with real names and valid e-mail address.
• All users must be at least 18 years old.

Profile Content

• A user should not upload or even write inappropriate material (hateful or offensive based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, or sexual orientation). These profiles will be removed when we become aware of such content, and we will report them to the appropriate authorities.
• Images displayed on wishlord.com should not contain nudity, sexually graphic material, or material that is otherwise considered explicit by the wishlord team.
• A profile may not promote any dangerous and illegal activity.

Profile Behavior

• wishlord.com is for personal use only, so it may not be used for commercial purposes.
• A profile should not be created by automated means or be used by an automated system to perform actions such as sending messages. We will remove these profiles and those that affects the general integrity of the system.

Community Restrictions
Communities are subject to the following restrictions. Violation of any of these restrictions may result in the removal of a community:

Community Content

• A community should not contain inappropriate material (hateful or offensive based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, or sexual orientation). These communities will be removed when we become aware of such content, and we will report them to the appropriate authorities.
• Images displayed on wishlord.com should not contain nudity, sexually graphic material, or material that is otherwise considered explicit by the wishlord team.
• A community may not promote any dangerous and illegal activity.

Community Behavior

• Communities should not be used for commercial purposes.
• A community that affects the general integrity of the system may be suspended or terminated.
